Irish Chain quilts have been made in Lancaster since the early 1800s. It’s a traditional time-tested design. Notice the brilliant pastel prints, fine quilting and careful piecework. The back of the quilt is covered with a cream floral print cotton fabric. The stitching is good with 6 stitches per inch. A high quality Amish quilt.
